EF Mailbox Manager

This is software that manages any number of POP3 accounts.

EF Mailbox Manager is a management program for as many as desired POP3 Accounts. The program will poll the accounts based on polling time specified and download mail items found on the mail servers to the unit running the mail manager. Downloaded E-Mails will be saved in ASCII text files and stored in mail boxes. On Outlook and other email clients that open attachments automatically, it is good to open the messages in an editor like the notepad. If the mail server can handle it, you could be using APOP protocol that allows a safe connection. This will prevent password being transferred over the net when logging in. You can create mail messages or answer a message through this software. The interface could be set up in any one of several languages that include English, German, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Dutch, French, Hebrew, Hungarian etc.

The interface is simple. You can select the account name when you are trying to look at the mail. The mail listing shows an id for the account. The display gives you a lot of information too, where from was it received from, when it was received, the mail size and the time of creation etc. Most mail clients, including free source ones, can give you more functionality today. Particularly the capability to receive a HTML mail is easily available. Thus the motivation for a mail client that accepts only text messages is not very clear. Additional disadvantage is that you cannot create personal folders for your mail. Not a great product.
